OPERATING PRINCIPLE
Flue gases (with Dioxins) enter the system through the nozzle at the tip of the sampling probe and passes through the probe liner having the high temperature. It then passes through the filter thimble, where the particulate matter is removed and reach the condenser assembly because the XAD-2 reagent absorbs Dioxins at less than or equal to 20 % moisture content at low temperature. The gas is directly absorbed in the absorbing solution, eg. Ethyl Alcohol. Then two impingers are also attached with this assembly one of distilled water followed by Silica gel filled impinger.
